Asta is a young man from the Clover Kingdom in the Magic Universe. A boy born without magic who aspires to become the Magic Emperor. One day though, when defending his rival from an attacker, a grimoire appears before him, with the picture of a five leaf black clover on it. Opening it, he pulls out a black sword comprised of Anti Magic, a magic that nullifies other magic. With it in hand, he defeated the attack and started his first path to reaching his goal.
After ending up in a world in the Warrior Universe, Asta has shown his power by defeating several enemies as well being able to permanently hurt the Elements. Seeing his determination and drive, Jexi decided to let Asta join them.
Asta is a calm and focused individual, but sometimes lets out an explosive side of him. He tends to express his goals, despite the opinions of other people. His strong determination also leads him to have a strong will to never give up and keep standing during a harsh battle.
